Ultrasound for aesthetic medicine has been around for 15 years, but it is only now that we’re starting to see it as such a valuable tool in cosmetic procedures. Almost all other medical specialties use ultrasound for image guidance in their clinical procedures, yet it has low use in aesthetic medicine. We started using ultrasound to see fillers and this also showed that there was anatomy visible under the skin and that a lot of dissolvable filler complications are injector related.

Using ultrasound needs time to learn, as with any new technology, but after these first steps, it will be like your third eye.
